The last couple of months have been really hectic. been working really hard on getting the Radio Comix Sites more up to date. being a web monkey is sure taxing. In that time as well, I’ve had to completely rebuild my computer system. Good news is that I’m finally off Win2k and onto Win7. Bad news is that many of my programs are so severely out of date that I’m effectively crippled when it comes to some things I do on the computer. It’ll just take time for me to earn the money to get me back onto solid footing. Hince why I’m working so hard to get this web-site thing taken care of, to the exclusion of my art and comics. Once it goes into mataince, I’ll be back on the comics.

At least, that’s the hope.

In the long run – merging things together will make for great management happiness on my end. I mean I *can* do the work. But making it streamlined and easy to maintain makes it for much easier work in the long run and less stress about things like updating and other management things that tend to bog one down over time. And let’s be honest here, I’m not exactly the most punctual of people here. ^.^;

But this leaves a big question on wither I should move WoWBlanc/ over to the new system.

Part of me is “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it”. Aventures of Blanc is sitting happly it’s it’s little sub directory, minding it’s own busniess.

But another part is “It’ll only be more difficult if you do it later”.

Yeah, I know, it’s taken forever to finish off this “story line”.

The last couple of months have been a pain, in more ways than one. Good news is that the bandages are off my hands, and I’ve kicked that retched illness and subsequent infections. The winter months always kick me fore a loop. Next year I really need to build up my backlog before December hits.

For now, it’s getting back on my artistic feet. New things are afoot. At least until next December when I hit the sick-wall again. ^.^

Commissions (outstanding):

JAnderson: Almost done! Just have the hammock to do and a couple of final touches. Will need a place to ship it too soon.

Reto: Done (some time ago) – waiting for email response.

Chmarr: Need to reinstall programs. Model’s Done, Rigging’s Done. It’s getting all the textures painted that’s killing me. ^.^

Theo: Need to start, but have ideas rolling around my head.

Website:
Need to backup and update all websites (Personal, AoB, all Radio sites). This will be a joy and a half. ~.~
Need to update ad boxes on Radio site.
Need to create ads for Duncan & Mallory and Coyote.

Comics:
Ebin & May: Episode 38 written and laid out. Blue line pages have been printed. Now I just need to do the art.

Adventures of Blanc: Yes, I know it’s been forever since I last updated. Xmas, followed by 3 weeks of plague followed by me messing up my hands has not helped. But it’s on the docket, right after I get JAnderson’s commission taken care of. Sorry for the wait.

Am getting better – pumping me full of meds seems to help. Trying to take it easy and under wraps before con as best as I can.

Holidays always throws me for a loop, my dag hogging my machine over Christmas so he can play wow besides the point. lol

Anyways – I’ve got a big convention (for me) coming up in a week or so, so I’ll probably not be able to post anything until then. But you never know, I might be able to sneak something in. Don’t count on it though. At least until this con is over, count on Blanc returning to his regularly scheduled sporadicness. ^.^;

**and yes, Blanc did make his T9 set for both DPS and Tank before the end of December. Now the joy of gearing up all my other 80’s lol… I play WoW waaaaay to much.

Whoohoo! An entire month of actually making a schedule with Adventures of Blanc. Black and White is your friend. Though I almost didn’t make this one since it took too freak’n long to draw the chopper. Just for the record, I hate drawing tech. lol

Almost didn’t make this update… between the new patch 3.3 and my arms aching so from horseback riding yesterday I was worried I wouldn’t be able to finish this. But I did, so … Go me!

Thoughts on the new patch (copies from my LJ):

Good things: they fixed the summoning stones… finally.

The new dungeon PuG finder works well so far. Only used it twice, got one rolling group and one group where the tank rolled too fast and was not keeping track on there the healer (me, on Kitzal) was. To be honest, I’m really suprized I still kept everyone up. Shocked the snot outta me. – Since then, I’ve pug a bit with Blanc as DPS (I pretty much refuse to tank PuGs anymore, not worth the headache) and within a few days, he had enough emblems to by his next T9 piece. Hoping to have the rest of the T9 tanking set by the end of December.

Bad things: I really dislike what they did to Looking for Raid. It’s much harder to use than the old Looking for Group system and they really hid it under the raid tab. Most folks don’t even know that it’s there. Because of it (or lack there of), you pretty much have to just sit in Dalaran the entire time hoping something comes along in the LookingForGroup Channel (which is a bigger dead zone than GuildRecruitment) or sit in Trade with all the stupid people spamming idiocies. Not an upgrade there. (First thing I useally do when I make a new toon is /leave Trade. >.<)

New Dungeon is fun but hard even on reg mode. Have not yet beat the last encounter of the last new 5-man. Minions of the Fickle Muse has a long running saying about Arthus wishing he’d “Put his HP where his mouth is”… well, he finally did, and… er…. we need better equipment. ^.^;

anyway – that’s my 2-cents. Have fun with the new patch guys! For now, short of PuGging random dungeons. It’s back into Uldaur to learn Yogg with Hells Angus and Get Muse to their first keeper (Probably Hodir) for me.
