Adding Fox Suprise Products to Zazzle

At the moment Mondays seem to be the update Zazzle and personal site days. ^.^

Been spending the day adding new products based off Fox Surprise to Zazzle. Also somewhat reformatted my entry so that instead of just text links to the different products, it actually shows you little thumbnails of the products at the bottom of the image post.

Fox Surprise now has: Totes, Cards, Postcards, Mousepads, Stickers, Magnets, Buttons, Keychains, Mugs, T-Shirts

More site changes coming and new products to be offers.

I have Logo!

Got off my ass and finally got my logo in shape for Smudge Marks, my tentative new business name/website.

Smudge Dragon

Woot! I have a logo for branding purposes. It’s all vectored and everything so it can scale up and down without loosing resolution.

^.^

Now, I have to magically come up with the money to register it along with getting the basic start-up costs of the business. All said and done, that’ll probably run me about $800.00 (estimate, rounded up). I’m hoping that I can fudge some initial sales to get the ball rolling. Well, I can hope anyways.

Smudge Marks back in shape

Finally got my personal site back into shape and happy. While it’s far form perfect, at some point you just have to stick a fork in it and call it done.

I’ll now be putting up my better art here along with stuff for sale and links to the different “shops” I have around the web. Except for originals, I’m having other places take care of the shipping/storage/manufacturing of my different items. Since I have almost no room at my current abode, this seemed the way to go. Less tax stuff I have to deal with too.

I’ll still occasionally use my site as a ‘test bed” for other sites I manage, hopefully they won’t be quite as dramatic as the changes it’s undergone recently. As such – I’ll probably update here more than LJ, since I can cross-post to LJ now without too much trouble. Wish I could do the same for my other WordPress/ComicPress sites, but the PhP on this server is not up to snuff for that. Feh.

Anyway – keep your eyes pealed for more good stuff!

What to do, what to do…

So, I’ve been poking around with WordPress/ComicPress lately fiddling with the multi-user function. I have to say, I’m liking what I’m seeing.

In the long run – merging things together will make for great management happiness on my end. I mean I *can* do the work. But making it streamlined and easy to maintain makes it for much easier work in the long run and less stress about things like updating and other management things that tend to bog one down over time. And let’s be honest here, I’m not exactly the most punctual of people here. ^.^;

But this leaves a big question on wither I should move WoWBlanc/ over to the new system.

Part of me is “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it”. Aventures of Blanc is sitting happly it’s it’s little sub directory, minding it’s own busniess.

But another part is “It’ll only be more difficult if you do it later”.

What to do, what to do ….
