GOD-F@#KING DAMN IT! New story just shot down by the Hollywood firing squad. Can I cry now?
So – I’ve been busy working my ass off on Project Garefowl, trying to get the first issue out by December. I am in the middle of the writing phase – with a good 1/2 of the first issue into the 2nd draft. It’s been approved by Radio Comix for publication via digital media (Graphic.ly, iVerse, web+).
Basic primes – US Navy vs. Aliens/First(?) Contact. I premiered this at Akon, though I’ve been talking with friends about it for some time now. While the story is new, this is a universe and characters I’ve been kicking around since High School (I graduated in 1990, you do the math). I’m all stoked for it. Baron and I have been researching our brains out on it as we want to show the military doing it right and not being STUPID (a favorite thing for Hollywood).
And now this crosses my desk -
The Movie Trailer for “Battleship”
The last thing I need is for some exec to try and sue ME over one of my own, wholly created works, just because he had the same idea I did at nearly the same time. What the f@#k am I suppose to do now?
