Commands & Colors: Ancients is a fun, fast moving game of ancient battles. It is the third "Commands & Colors" game, though the only one to have the name in the title, and is the most complicated of them (complexity is a very relative term, here). There have been five expansions, each with a number scenarios depicting battles from various periods in ancient history.

The system is intended to cover battles from the dawn of history through ca. AD 500. This leaves something of a gap between it and the medieval/fantasy themed BattleLore, that I would like to see covered.
